Thinking of going back to school? Not sure where to start?
Going back to school could be as simple as taking a class for fun or to learn a new skill. You may want to take credit classes with the goal of completing a Degree or Certificate. Or you just need to take a class or two to update your skills for professional development. Which path is right for you? It depends on you, and what your goals are! You have many choices.
If you are planning to attend MC and get started on your degree or take a class for credit, your first stop should be one of our three campus Raptor Centrals. Here, our specialists will eagerly assist you in navigating the admissions and registration process.

- Please note that noncredit Workforce Development & Continuing Education students do NOT have to apply for admittance, most WDCE classes are open enrollment.

Continuing Education - Noncredit Courses. Workforce Development and Continuing Education courses are for individuals in career transitions, those reentering the workforce, and those updating technical skills, as well as those seeking knowledge enrichment. These courses do NOT require you to be admitted to the College.

- As a distance learner at MC, you'll have access to online counseling, advising, library resources, tutoring, and more, and you're also welcome to use our on-campus facilities anytime.

- Lifelong Learning Institute Courses for adults age 50+. Lifelong Learning Institute is committed to creating and fostering a variety of intellectually stimulating opportunities for Montgomery Country residents age 50 and over. These classes are non-credit and cover a variety of topics such as Archaeology and World Culture; Art and Art History; Brain Fitness Institute; Careers and Employment; History and Current Events; Literature and Writing; Wellness; and more.
