Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education (GITE)
The Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education (GITE) offers a wide range of training in the areas of Automotive, Building and Construction, Construction Management, Computer Repair, Welding, Environmental Horticulture & Sustainable Agribusiness, and Basic Repairs. Students have the option of taking these classes for credit (working toward a College Degree) or noncredit (without the worry of grades) - through Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE). Many of these classes prepare you for Industry Recognized Certification exams.

A survey course that explores the world of cannabis. Students will examine the history of the plant and its many industrial and medical uses. Learn about the legal and regulatory environment specific to Maryland and the opportunities created by the Maryland cannabis supply chain. Students will also review the basics of plant growth, the compounds the plant produces and the myriad effects and impacts on the human body. Additionally, students will learn about the various products available and how they are formulated.
