Partial Power Outage - RV SW
The Science Center West (SW) building at the Rockville (RV) campus is experiencing a partial power outage.  Further information and updates will be provided as they are received. (10/21/2024)
Temporary Intermittent Closures of ADA Parking Spaces East Garage at TPSS
Due to ongoing improvements of the East Garage at the Takoma Park Silver Spring campus there will be intermittent closures of the ADA parking spaces on the first floor of the garage.  This project is expected to last for the duration of the Fall 2024 semester.  Persons with valid ADA placards or tags may park in Faculty/Staff parking if the ADA spaces are full or not accessible.  If further assistance is needed, please contact the Office of Public Safetynew window.
Elevator Outages

The following elevators are out of service:

  • Complete Outage with Alternate Access - the passenger elevator in the Homer S. Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education (GU) building at the Rockville (RV) campus.  The stairwells are open and alternate access to Floor 2 is available through the freight elevator with assistance from the Facilities Officenew window or Office of Public Safetynew window.  (10/21/2024)
  • Complete Outage with Alternate Access - the elevator in the Science Center West (SW) Building at the Rockville (RV) campus.  The stairwells are open, Floor 1 has accessible entrances, Floor 2 has an accessible entrance via the bridge from the first floor of Macklin Tower (MT), and Floors 2 and 3 can be accessed via the connecting hallway from Floors 2 and 3 of Science Center (SC).  (10/18/2024) 
  • Partial outage - Elevator 2 in the Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Student Services Center (SV) building at the Rockville (RV) campus.  The stairwells are open and elevator 1 is working.  Expect delays accessing floors 2-4 and the basement via the elevator. (10/17/2024)
