Education
If you want to become a teacher—whether for infants/toddlers, preschool, high school, or anywhere in between— we are here to help you reach your goals. For those interested in early childhood programs, we offer courses that meet the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care requirements, courses that lead to the national Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, the 1 Year Early Childhood Certificate, and an associate of applied science degree accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Students just beginning coursework toward teacher certification in Maryland will want to review our associate of arts in teaching programs, available in early childhood, elementary education, and secondary education in a variety of fields. These degrees provide a clear transfer pathway to the education programs at any college or university in Maryland, and many schools across the USnew window.
