Biography
My interests are, far and wide, literature written on the American continent, from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska, and film studies. I'm particularly drawn to how Hollywood films use nineteenth-century novels as sounding boards to figure out segregation, trauma, and gender roles in the United States throughout the twentieth century. At Montgomery College, I teach writing courses with a focus on revision as the driving force behind successful writing practice.Educational Background
