In-Person Event at the Montgomery College Gaithersburg Business Training Center
Are you a nonprofit executive, founder, or senior staff member in Montgomery County tasked with generating funding and revenue for your organization? Then this informative day is for you!
This program is tailored to enhance your fundraising skills and strategies. Unlock the knowledge and tools you need to elevate your fundraising efforts. Nonprofit experts will cover essential topics, including:
- Identifying and securing corporate funding opportunities
- Insider tips on how proposals are reviewed
- Key strategies for effective proposal writing
- End-of-year fundraising and soliciting individual donors
- A step-by-step guide to Montgomery County’s application process
The content is designed for new and emerging organizations; however, any interested nonprofit leader may register.
Participants will have an opportunity to sign up for a one-hour individual consultation
with
one of the subject experts after participating in this event.
$12.50 Registration Fee (includes lunch). Space is Limited. Pre-registration is required to attend.

Governance and Succession Planning for Nonprofits
We partnered with the Montgomery County Government and the Montgomery County Black Collective on this Sustainable Success Program.
Effective governance and succession planning are crucial for the sustainability of nonprofit organizations and this program offers a hands-on approach. Participants of the program were able to benefit from: meaningful conversations with peers and experts, practical exercises to apply the knowledge gained, and an opportunity for personalized guidance after the event.
