Attendance Policy
Students must sit for all hours of the program for completion. Registered students should refer to the syllabus sent a week prior to class about the number of hours allowed to be made up for a given class. Students that need to make-up missing hours will need to return during a future semester to complete the hours missed or complete a program/event at the discretion of the program office. Students that miss more than the number of hours listed in the syllabus, without excused absences, will not be eligible for returning to make up course hours, and would not be allowed to move on to the next course in the sequence.
Students must review the eligibility criteria and instructions for each opportunity. Please pay close attention to the instructions, and be sure to include any necessary documentation, as incomplete applications are not considered.
Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship
Up to $2,000 covers tuition, fees, and associated costs of attendance that have not been met through another grant or scholarship. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered. For more information including eligibility, the application process, and deadlines visit the Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship.
Other Potential WDCE Funding Opportunities
You may review other WDCE Scholarship Opportunities that may be available. Students will need to review the requirements for each opportunity to see if they would meet eligibility requirements.
Supplies
Students will need to purchase supplies at an additional cost outside of the cost of the courses. A breakdown of what supplies will be needed and used for each course will be provided to registered students during the first class session. Some bulk supplies will be provided at the start of Nail Technician I to help students get started while in class.
Please note that additional nail and bulk supplies may need to be purchased by the student based on frequency of use throughout the duration of the program, including for home use.
