Adult ESOL Schedule of Classes
- All students must apply in person at the time and location where they want to take classes.
- You must take an in-person CASAS test to be placed in a class. Taking the test is not a guarantee you will be placed in class. You may not get a class if too many people apply.
- You must live in Maryland to take these classes.
- You must be at least 18 years old to take these classes.
- All classes are free except for the Advanced ESOL class. If you are placed in the Advanced class, you will be required to pay $100 for tuition.
- Students with F1 or J1 visa cannot take classes in this program. Contact ESL-Rockville@montgomerycollege.edu, if you have a F1 or J1 visa and want to take ESOL classes.
Spring 2025 Application Information
- All students must apply in person in at the time and location where they want to take classes.
- Spring 2025 ESOL classes are in person only (no online regular ESOL classes)
- Classes start in January 2025
- There are some online classes (intermediate and advanced levels only) for students interested in workplace ESOL classes. - All new students must return for a placement test on another day. We will tell you when to return
- Current Students: If you are currently in a Fall II ESOL class, you must talk to your teacher about how to apply for Spring 2025 classes.
