Fuel for Success Food Campaign
It's our mission to ensure that no student goes hungry. Our mobile markets, campus food pantries, and other food initiatives and programs are here to help, and there are additional community resources to assist students in need.
We urge any student who has difficulty accessing sufficient food to eat every day, or who lacks a safe and stable place to live, to contact the Student Wellness Center.
Mobile Markets provide fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods to MC students, faculty/staff, and the community at no cost to participants.
The Mobile Market provides fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods to MC students, faculty/staff, and the community. The food is distributed on campus at no cost. All you need to do is check the schedule for the campus convenient to you, bring your bags to carry your groceries, and pick up some food.
No proof of eligibility is required. Food is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Mobile Market is a partnership between Montgomery College and the Capital Area Food Bank. If you're interested in volunteering with the Mobile Market, please fill out the volunteer formnew window. Questions or need information - contact Angela Dawson.

Grocery and hygiene assistance for MC students.
The Montgomery College Food Locker Program offers grocery and hygiene assistance to MC students. Whether you are experiencing food insecurity or using the Food Locker to save money for something else, we’re here as a resource for all students.
All students, credit and non-credit, who are registered for the current semester are able to participate. No financial information is required to determine eligibility.
You will need to complete an information/waiver form. This form requires your MC ID number and some basic demographic information. No financial information is asked. However, an acknowledgement is required for the waiver.
Once you have been determined eligible, you will receive a Food Locker ID number and a window of time to pick up your items.
Food items vary week to week but primarily consist of soup, cereal, pasta and many other nonperishables. There is quite a variety of food represented in limited quantities, such as organic and ethnic foods.
Hygiene products are also available on a limited basis.
Feel free to drop off items to the Student Wellness Center in SV 316 on the Rockville Campus to support the Food Locker. Thank you for your generosity.
