Science
MC's associate's degree in science will provide the first two years of a typical four-year curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree in a science- or mathematics-related field.
Five tracks are available: chemistry and biochemistry, biological science, environmental science and policy, mathematics, and physics. Within each track, completion of all requirements for this curriculum will lead to the award of the AS in science.
The curriculum is designed to provide academic flexibility in order to meet requirements of various transfer institutions. To identify appropriate courses for transfer, students should consult with the transfer institutions, use ARTSYSnew window (transfer information maintained by the University of Maryland System for Maryland community college students), and seek assistance from a counselor or advisor.
