Cherry Blossom Conference
MC students! Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your talent and take your
ideas, research or work-in-progress to the next level? Are you eager to share your
work with a community of like-minded peers in a supporting and welcoming environment?
Since 2016, the Humanities Advocacy Group and the Humanities Area disciplines of Montgomery College have been hosting the Cherry Blossom Conference to inspire creative thinking and foster collaboration in Humanities. We welcome formal papers, creative works, research projects, and group projects for consideration. With a wide range of panels on subjects related to the humanities, arts, and social sciences, the Cherry Blossom Conference provides the perfect opportunity for students to showcase their work and engage in thoughtful conversations with other students, staff, and faculty at Montgomery College. Whether you're interested in literature, history, philosophy, art, or language, our conference provides an encouraging atmosphere to explore your passion. Whether you're looking to refine your presentation skills, make valuable connections with other students in your field, or gain valuable and constructive feedback from experienced faculty, our conference offers everything you need to succeed.
As a college student, presenting your work at a conference can have many benefits,
including building your professional network, improving your research, writing, and
presentation skills, enhancing your resume, and gaining valuable experience in public
speaking and presenting. Submit your work to our upcoming student conference to take
the first step toward achieving your academic and professional goals!
