Professor Jenkins holds an MA degree in Applied Ethics from UMBC, where he wrote his thesis on ethical issues in the diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Personality Disorder (now Dissociative Identity Disorder). He holds BA's in Philosophy and Biopsychology, also from UMBC.
Professor Jenkins teaches Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, Morality and
the Law, Philosophy of Religion, and a number of applied ethics courses. He has received
fellowships to from the National Endowment for the Humanities for Summer Institutes
on Buddhist East Asia (2018) and Experimental Philosophy (2012). During his sabbatical
semester in Fall of 2017, Professor Jenkins served as Visiting Professor at Xi’an
University of Arts and Sciences 西安文理学院, Xi’an, China.
Professor Jenkins is the lead facilitator for Ethics in Engineering, Cybersecurity,
Computer Science, and Data Science. He is the coach of the Ethics Bowl Team, and a
rotating member of the Montgomery College IRB.
Prof. Jenkins won the Montgomery College Full-time Professor of the Year for the academic
year 2021-2022.

Biography
Dr. Samuel Belsham Moki earned a Ph.D. in political science with a minor in public administration in 2002 from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at several universities within the Washington Metropolitan Area for over 20 years.His academic experience is complemented with over seven years of senior management experience as the associate director for the Environmental and Sustainability Services Division with Prince George’s County Government, Maryland from 2006 to 2013. Between 2015 to the present, Dr. Moki has served as a public board member for promotional evaluations at the United States Department of State, Department of Commerce and the Department of Agriculture. He currently serves as a Commissioner in the Governor’s Commission for African Affairs in the State of Maryland and also, as a Commissioner for the State’s Attorney’s Multicultural Commission in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Dr. Moki has authored several books, book chapters and peer-reviewed articles. He is the COO and Co-Owner of Bethel Assisted Living Homes in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Professor Pozos has more than 10 years’ experience teaching Spanish and English (ESL). She has been living in the United States for almost 16 years. Over the course of her career, she has taught all levels of Spanish to students of all ages, ranging from middle school to working adult professionals. Biography
Professor Suliman is currently writing her PhD thesis at the Johns Hopkins University, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Near Eastern Studies. Her dissertation’s topic is about the titles and representation of male and female dancers in Ancient Egypt.
She obtained her MA degree in 2014, also from JHU, in Near Eastern Studies. Prof. Sulliman has a BA (2008) from Helwan University, Egypt, in Education and Library Science.
Professor Rania Suliman (Arabic) received from the Johns Hopkins University: the Dean’s Teaching Fellowship at Krieger School of Art and Sciences award.
She invited a guest speaker for her Arabic 101 class on November 10, 2021. The guest speaker was: Maryum Saifee, Senior Advisor Secretary's Office of Diversity & Inclusion, US Department of State.
Besides teaching Arabic courses at Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus and Rockville campus, she is currently teaching a course at the JHU about Lives in Ancient Egypt: Society, Family, and Gender.
