The focus of this paper will be about Social Class and Inequality that exists within society today and how the Conflict Theory plays a key role. The article “A record number of colleges drop SAT/ACT admissions requirements amid growing disenchantment with standardized tests” published by the Washington Post demonstrates the theory of conflict through the use of facts and statistics. The main idea in the article is how colleges should drop some of the standardized test scores such as the ACT and SAT while continuing to accept others.
