Food Safety and Hospitality

two women preparing for a banquetThank you for choosing Montgomery College for your Food Safety and Hospitality continuing education. We are working to be your sole provider of Hospitality professional development and licensure courses. We work with the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services to provide your Food Manager Recertification exams; we are proud to provide the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation's (NRAEF) ServSafe Food Manager course; and most recently we teamed with the Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation to provide Supervisory related courses. Our Instructors are currently working in the Hospitality field, either as educators or practitioners, and are all certified by NRAEF. Of this group, some are Licensed Dieticians and / or full - time faculty members within the college's Hospitality degree program.

Course Offerings Include:
  • Food Service Recertification (for certified/licensed food managers)
  • Food Safety Certification - ServSafe, NRAEF (to become licensed food manager).
  • Exam Retake - ServSafe
